Cup Crumb Cake Activity

We hope everybody had an AMAZING 4th of July

At Branches, we celebrated by making an America-themed crumb cake in a cup that came out delicious! So delicious, we thought we would share the wealth! Check it out.

We started by baking three cakes, one red, one white, and one blue. We used three boxes of white Betty Crocker cake mix, and followed the simple instructions on the back (Three eggs and 1/2 cup of oil needed.) You must add red and blue food coloring to the batter before baking for color. The amount is to your discretion, but five drops in each cake should get the job done!

We then watched this video explaining how to make crumb cake in a cup!

After the video we started crumbing our freshly baked cakes.

We then layered our cups with cake crumbles and icing!
